Garmin 205 Forerunner Review

Just when you thought Garmin had got the market on affordable and effective wrist mounted GPS monitors they release the Forerunner 205.The release of the forerunner 205 is a massive achievement from a design and technology side. This is the most accurate most reliable wrist mounted monitor with GPS that Garmin have produced. Because no monitor this small could pack everything into a wrist mounted monitor the 205 pushes the boundaries of what is possible. The Garmin 205 does not offer connectivity to Gamins’ wireless speed and cadence sensor but it is still a great way to get basis location and performance data.

The Garmin 205's design is a departure from the previous generation of wrist mounted GPS devices from Garmin which culminated in the Garmin forerunner 301.Whilst the 301 gave accurate heart rate monitoring, great performance tracking and adequate GPS reception it was bulky and when wearing it felt like you had a full size GPS strapped to you wrist.
